Here are the two projects for my intro to computer graphics that made it up onto the wall at school:
There was a certain number of objectives that I had to achieve for each of these. The above was done entirely in illustrator. I concentrated on using only a triadic color scheme due to the simplicity of the bird's coloring.
This project was done in photoshop. I had to have at least ten images for this project, which for me felt a little too much and I would have had it a little more stripped down at points. For the poster I ignored the triadic color scheme dropping the yellow for something a little more bold.

Mermaid Meat
I had a show a little while back, I think right before I started classes.
Again there were pretty girls, as I tend the female form over the male, but the main focus was Japanese goblins, or Yokai. A secondary focus was kimonos and textile and the patterns they can create. I mixed in some pop references for a little spice.
These scans are taken from prints and an advertisement card (not of my design, but Ximena of Skeleton Key Tattoo):
